Accelerated Learning in Action
The Incredible Brain
Accelerated Learning's Greatest Success
Our changing world
The world is changing at an ever-accelerating pace. As the 21st century approaches, the
pace of every day life has speeded up-everything from fast food to fast communication.
We live in an age when space satellites beam pictures home from Jupiter; when
revolutionary scientific and medical breakthroughs are being made at a breathtaking rate;
and when the intellectual resources of the world's great libraries are literally at our
fingertips through the Internet. Yet it is also an age when most teaching is stuck in the
horse and buggy days.
Today, learning how to learn is more important than what we learn-especially when what
we learn can become so quickly outdated.
Learning is a lifelong adventure.
It should begin earlier than the
child's first day at school and continue far beyond the graduation ceremony. In an age
when the only constant is change; traditional teaching and training
techniques fall short
of the mark. To master accelerated change requires Accelerated Learning. The ability to
absorb and understand new information quickly-and retain that information.
Accelerated Learning brings out the abilities that lie within each person using games and activities, motion and music, relaxation,
role play, color and 'mind maps' - a whole cornucopia of
techniques that make learning a stress-free,
enjoyable and meaningful event.
